In addition to excluding any fruits, do not place these in the vegetable crisper drawer:
-Onions-Tomatoes-Garlic-Green onions (scallions)-Peppers (bell peppers, chili peppers, etc.)-Eggplants-Avocados
Vegetables affected by ethylene include:- Leafy greens (spinach, lettuce, kale, etc.)- Broccoli- Cauliflower- Carrots- Cucumbers- Green beans- Asparagus- Brussels sprouts- Peas
