Ethylene-producing Vegetables

In addition to excluding any fruits, do not place these in the vegetable crisper drawer:

-Onions
-Tomatoes
-Garlic
-Green onions (scallions)
-Peppers (bell peppers, chili peppers, etc.)
-Eggplants
-Avocados

DO NOT PUT IN DRAWER

Vegetables affected by ethylene include:
- Leafy greens (spinach, lettuce, kale, etc.)
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Carrots
- Cucumbers
- Green beans
- Asparagus
- Brussels sprouts
- Peas
